Dr. Ellenberger is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA), and a Licensed Professional School Counselor trained in Crisis Management and Trauma Informed Practices. Dr. Ellenberger is currently working towards her certification in Somatic Counseling and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Dr. Ellenberger is a highly qualified, well respected, compassionate, and dedicated social worker. She specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating complex relationship dynamics, life transitions, and personal barriers stemming from trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and disorganization. Her goal is to help you overcome these obstacles and foster a greater sense of self-worth, as well as improve your ability to follow through on tasks and goals.
Using a combination of Reality Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy techniques, Dr. Ellenberger tailors her approach to meet your unique needs. She will explore your communication skills in relationships and, when appropriate, delve into career development and personal values from a place with no judgment. Dr. Ellenberger also offers walk-and-talk therapy, a holistic intervention that encourages movement and connection to nature, promoting both mental and physical well-being.
In her free time, she likes to spend time with family , including her husband, dog, and two cats. She is often out walking, practicing yoga, reading, or discovering new adventures.
